Hey friends! I figured it was time to properly re Hey friends! I figured it was time to properly re-introduce myself — it’s been 5 years 🫣 My bestie @daniellekeyphotography (who happens to be an insanely talented photographer!!) took some photos of me so I’d thought now would be the perfect time.

I’m Kelsey 🤍
Mom to Wyatt, Charlotte, and Vivienne, wife to my favorite guy, and the person behind www.shoppedAndLoved.com.

I share the mom hacks, favorite finds, beauty products I love, and the little tips that make everyday life a bit easier.

I’m a part-time homeschool mom, have a million hobbies (my newest is embroidery 🤪) love to cook, chauffeur my kids to baseball/dance/golf/horse and enjoy doing anything creative!

This space has always been about real life, honest favorites, and a sense of humor when parenting throws you that kind of day. You’ll still find all of that — plus actual recommendations I use in my own home and with my own kids.

If you’re here for laughter, helpful tips, and the things that actually make mom life smoother — you’re in the right place 🤍

Current skincare routine as a 35 year-old mom of 3 🤍

I keep my skincare simple, consistent, and focused on hydration, pigment control, and long-term skin health. No trendy overload — just what actually works for my dry, sensitive skin.

AM ☀️
• Medicube Zero Pore Pads (light exfoliation + smoothing)
• Prequel Multi-Quench Hydration Mist
• Prequel Glycerin Serum (AM & PM staple for dry skin)
• Timeless Vitamin C (20% + Ferulic)
• La Roche-Posay Anthelios UVMune 400 SPF 50+ — every single day, no excuses

PM 🌙
• Prequel Multi-Quench Hydration Mist
• Anua Niacinamide 10% + TXA 4% Serum (new addition — loving this for dark spots)
• Wait ~30 minutes
• Tretinoin 0.05% Cream
• INNBEAUTY Project Extreme Cream (thick but still somehow light — obsessed)

That’s it.
Better skin at 36 than in my 20s because I finally take care of it ✨
Consistency > perfection.

If you’re overwhelmed by skincare, this is your sign to simplify.

Honorable mention goes to @wrinklefreern for always working her magic (botox and micro-needling…no gatekeeping here)! Comment shop to get shop-able links to my current skincare staples! Also linked everything in my @amazon storefront.

Our Updated Daily Schedule

Now that Charlotte is 13 months old, she is transitioning to one nap and our schedule has changed a bit. I must admit, I have been waiting for both kiddos to be on the same nap schedule for a long time! Nap jail is no joke. Previously, Charlotte would go down for her first nap around 9:30 and wake up around 11am. Wyatt goes down for his nap around noon and wakes up around 2pm, then Charlotte would nap from about 2-3. So there was always one child awake and I felt that I never had a minute to regroup or get anything done that I needed to. Because I work from home and choose to forego childcare, this was quite honestly a very stressful period for me. Not to mention it’s practically impossible to leave the house before 3 pm because someone is always napping. IF I had to leave the house with both kids, I would have to sacrifice someone’s nap which makes for a grumpy kiddo. Needless to say, I’m THRILLED to have both kids taking their naps at the same time.

Recently I have had a lot of days where I feel like I never stop all day long but don’t actually accomplish anything. Having a two hour chunk of time in the middle of the day to regroup, get work done, get a workout in if I wasn’t able to do it that morning, prep dinner, clean up, catch up on laundry, etc. is a game-changer for my mental health and for my productivity. I will miss spending so much time with each kiddo individually and having them awake at the same time all day long does not come without it’s challenges, but I am plan on prioritizing one-on-one time with both kids every day – even if it’s just 10 minutes. Wyatt usually goes to bed a bit later than Charlotte, so we enjoy cuddling and watching movies in bed together. Charlotte is an early riser, so we spend some time alone together in the morning.

I really wanted to type out what our schedule looks like these days to organize my thoughts and hold me accountable. There are a couple of things I’d like to accomplishing every day and having a written schedule helps just like a to-do list would. Okay, without further ado, here we go!

4am: Kasey wakes up for work.

Sometimes I wake up with him because his alarm is loud and I can’t fall back asleep. I get so much done on these mornings, but I am really burnt out by the end of the day.

5:30/6 am: I wake up, drink a cup of coffee, make the bed, work out, shower & get ready for the day

I try to wake up at 5:30 every day to get a workout in and shower + get ready for the day. On nights I can’t sleep or one of the kids has a bad night (usually Charlotte – she only sleeps through the night about 75% of the time) I let myself sleep until one of the kids wakes up. I much prefer having a little time to myself in the morning and feel so much better on days I work out, but I’d rather skip a workout than be sleep deprived.

6:30/7 am: Charlotte wakes up

I change her, get her dressed and then rock her and feed her an 8 oz bottle

7:30 am: Wyatt wakes up

Get dressed, brush teeth

8 am: Breakfast for Wyatt and Charlotte // empty the dishwasher and drink cup of coffee #2

The kids usually a combo of 3 of the following: Eggs, avocado, blueberries, toast, waffles, bananas, yogurt, cereal, pancakes

8:30 am: Clean up after breakfast while Wyatt and Charlotte play

I also will try to throw in a load of laundry, start my diffuser, pick up the house a little bit if I didn’t the night before and call my mom for the first time that day (haha!)

9:00 am: Stoller walk with the dog, take the kids to the park, meet friends for a playdate or run errands

On weekends when my parents don’t work and Kasey does, we like to go over to their house for breakfast or do a fun outing with my mom… usually Nordstrom 🙂

10:00 am: Snack time!

If we are home, the kids will eat their snack outside and play in the backyard and I will water the garden.

11:00: Kids play inside or watch a little bit of Daniel Tiger, Mickey Mouse or Blippi

I’ll usually get lunch ready, fold laundry and clean up during this time

11:45: Kids and I eat lunch

Lunch for the kids is usually leftovers from the night before or fruit, avocado toast, cheese and crackers, PB&J, mac and cheese or something easy. My kids don’t usually eat a ton for lunch, but I don’t want them to have an empty stomach for their nap. I normally will have leftovers or make myself a salad. I do intermittent fasting so this is my first meal of the day.

12:00 – 2pm: Naptime!

I try to spend the entire 2 hours working so I don’t have any distractions later on. If I don’t finish, what I need to during that time, my husband will take over when he gets home and entertain the kids until I finish.

2/2:30 pm: Kids wake up and have a snack

3:00 pm: Kasey usually gets home around this time, but sometimes stuff comes up and it’s much later

3:30 pm: Get stuff done o’clock

Run errands, put laundry away, pull weeds, water, clean something, go on a walk or get a project done around the house. The kids play outside, “help” with whatever we are doing, chase the dog around…

4:00 pm: I get dinner started while Kasey plays with the kids.

If I’m alone I turn the TV on for the kids because they usually start losing their minds around this time. I also start tracking him on Find My Friends to see when he’ll be home. If he’s going to be late, I pray my mom can come over so I have an adult to talk to. The kids are obsessed with her so it always brings their moods up!

5/5:30 pm: Dinnertime!

I try to have everything ready by 5 or the kids get pretty hangry. During warmer months, we like to BBQ and eat outside a lot!

6:00 pm: We usually go outside and let the kids play while Kasey and I have a glass of wine or beer. We also enjoy the hot tub if Charlotte isn’t ready for bed yet.

6:30 pm: Bath or shower & jammies for both kids

7:00 pm: Charlotte bedtime

She gets an 8 oz. bottle then we read books, rock in the rocking chair, sing songs and go to bed. Wyatt hangs with his dad while I put Charlotte to bed.

7:00 pm: Wyatt, Kasey and I watch a movie in our bed.

By movie I mean Moana or Toy Story 4. Those are our only choices. Wyatt also like to have a snack.

8:00 pm: Wyatt bedtime

We brush teeth, read books, and turn on the star projector he loves. We also get all of his stuffed animals situated in his bed.

8:30 pm: Kasey and I spend time together.

Sometimes if I have a

deadline, I’ll work more and he’ll play video games, but we try to (and prefer to) spend some alone time together every night after the kids go to bed.
