I think I’ve finally perfected my air fryer cauliflower bites! We had these at my oldest friend’s wedding rehearsal dinner 2 years ago and I’ve been trying to recreate them ever since. I think this is the closest they’re going to get!
Ingredients
- 1 bag fresh cauliflower florets
- 1/2 stick of butter, melted
- 1/2 cup buffalo sauce, I use the Primal Kitchen one you can get from Costco
- 1/2 cup almond flour (I like Bob’s Red Mill)
- 3 tablespoons dried parsley
- 1/2 tablespoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon Seasoning Salt
Instructions
1. Place cauliflower florets in a large mixing bowl and set aside.
2. Melt butter and mix in buffalo sauce until combined
3. Pour the hot sauce mixture over the cauliflower; mix around until all cauliflower florets are fully coated
4. In a separate bowl whisk together almond flour, dried parsley, garlic powder, and seasoning salt
5. Spoon-in almond flour mixture over the cauliflower one scoop at a time; gently mix until everything is coated.
6. Place half of the prepared cauliflower into the air fryer. You don’t want to overcrowd or they won’t get crispy
7. Air fry at 350˚F for 15 minutes, shaking a couple times during the cooking process. Asses the cauliflower to see if they’re browned. If not, air fry them for another 10 minutes. I usually do this, but we like them really browned.
8. Remove cauliflower from the Air Fryer & set aside. Cover with foil to keep warm.
9. Repeat step 7 until all of your cauliflower is air fried.
- Serve in a bowl with a serving spoon and top with parsley. They are a bit messy, so we scoop them onto separate plates and use forks. I like to serve with celery, carrot sticks and my favorite homemade *Ranch dressing!
*For Ranch dressing, I buy the big seasoning jug at Costco and make the dressing per the instruction on the container. I ALWAYS use buttermilk! It makes all the difference.
